The Swiss Guard

The Swiss Guard has been around since the 15th Century.  They are single males with Swiss citizenship who are loyal to the Pope.  They were mostly ceremonial,  But in recent years, with that assault on the Popes, they are taking more training in unarmed combat and weapons.  You see them all around at the Vatican.  And believe me, they will not let you into Vatican City without having a reason to be there.
