INSIDE THE VATICAN DOME

I actually climbed to the top of the Vatican dome.  Six hundred steps to the top.  Well, actually, I didn't climb 600 steps.  I took an elevator up the first 300, then my friend, Cindy, pushed me up the last 300.  I was very grateful to have that opportunity and couldn't have made it without Cindy.  What a view.  Just magnificent.  Got some great shots, too.  But the first one I'll show you is the inside of the dome.  Brightly painted and gold leafed.  If you ever get the chance, you have to make the climb.  I will never be able to describe what I saw.
